Higher Pay

An honest days work for an honest days pay.

That’s what our great country is founded on. But who is it that determines what’s honest? Do you leave it solely up to corporate big wigs that only have their bottom line in mind ?

The IAM says no. Workers must have a voice and must demand that they be paid fairly for the work they do.

The IAM ensures that it’s members are fairly compensated and that promises of raises and other financial benefits are backed up in writing.

Labor unions throughout history have fought for fair pay for workers. The rights most workers take for granted were won by unions such as:  Overtime Pay, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, 8 hour work day, Workers comp, and many many more.

The results of these efforts are shown in the chart below. Union members are often paid up to 20% more than non-union workers.
